Technical Instructor (Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics) shall
teach technical subjects in accordance with the standards hereunder:

*Work a minimum of eight (08) hours per day, five (05) days per week
for a total of forty (40) hours per week with up to thirty (30) Contact
Teaching Hours (CTH) per week (CTH = 45 minutes)

*Prepare lesson plans for each subject taught

*Implement advanced technical and specialized course material as identified in the curriculum

*Test and assess trainee’s performance and provide feedback on materials

*Perform practical tasks in accordance with specified standards

*Ensure the availability of all required teaching aids, equipment,
tools and reference materials needed for classroom demonstration

*Estimate and specify the equipment, tools and materials needed for course implementation

*Prepare weekly and bi-weekly tests and conduct the tests on a regular basis

*Submit trainee progress reports as required and provide supplementary
materials that will enhance the learning process for the trainees and
conduct technical remedial classes as required

*Provide continuous assessment of hands-on performance

*Conduct field visits as required
